OPERATIONS

 

 

Maintenance and Engineering is concerned with the supervision of aircraft maintenance, quality management, technical services and engineering to guarantee safety, reliability, and quality of each aircraft of Pacific Pearl Airways.

The aircraft, its engines and components is subjected to maintenance reserve, so that when Life Limited Parts, with Overhaul Limit Components and Heavy Maintenance Checks reach their due time, enough finances will support such maintenance requirements.

Aircraft Maintenance has the Supervisor of
Aircraft Maintenance, the Chief Inspector,
Crew Chief, Aircraft Mechanics, Avionics
Technician and Structural Technician. They
are answerable for the airworthiness of the
aircraft.

Quality Management will employ various procedures that will uphold conformance to the Aviation Quality and Safety Practices and to Civil Aviation Regulations. In line with this, the Quality Management conducts aircraft inspection regularly in addition to internal quality and sub-contractor audits. It is also in charge of the tool room, technical library and aircraft licensing.


Technical Services is liable for the proper monitoring of technical records and the forecasting of maintenance checks compliance and reliability analysis of aircraft, engine and components.

Airplane
Engineering employs licensed aircraft engineers responsible for engineering drawings for the aircraft’s major repair and alteration and the creation of mandatory bulletins derived from Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins. The engineers also handle the Weight and Balance Check of the aircraft.
